BBC One has commissioned a new series of films, entitled In My Own Words, which offers the viewer an opportunity to get up close to some of the UK’s leading cultural figures, discover what fires their imaginations, and the forces that have shaped their lives.
The film takes a walk through pivotal moments in Jilly's life, intertwined with an up-to-date interview, and includes a number of archive clips.
